Hilton Garden Inn Tampa North, Temple Terrace

It was just OK. I paid extra to receive a little of the luxury that the Hilton brand provides and I received a 2-star experience.

Liked: Friendly front desk staff. Clean.
Disliked: It's not Hilton standard. The bartender and then the bar manager refused to give a patron a glass wineglass because they only had a few and reserved them for the evening. None of the other patrons could believe our ears. Ridiculous. The beds were not the Hilton beds either.

Disliked: price for an old unrenovated hotel is extremely high. I understand, nobody takes care of those things, if people are staying in these kind of hotels, why change something. but still... i felt sad, that for this price hotel is in such a bad condition

Old, musty and outdated.

Disliked: I am so disappointed in Hilton!! This hotel was not worth what I paid. Bed was uncomfortable, carpet dirty, elevator hold on poles broke, breakfast was disgusting. Drapes dirty, and the room was not very nice. It needs to be remodeled and new bed frames ordered!! Next again will I stay there.

Bring your own pillow

Liked: The room was clean and smelled nice, but it wasn't what I'd expect from a Hilton.
Disliked: The tub faucet fell off when we turned the handle, and the pillows were garbage. I opted for my airplane donut pillow, as it had more support than the pillows here. The refillable shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers are, in theory, a great idea, and I appreciate the effort for sustainability. However, they have the potential to be easily contaminated, I'd prefer to have single use options.

Nice Place to Stay

Liked: Lovely property with inside and outside places to relax. The breakfast and the bar were good. The beds were very comfortable and best of all the employees were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: Our room could've used some attention. The bathtub looked dirty but it was just stained and the bathroom door stuck because the veneer was coming off. The room needs a new tub and door. Otherwise everything was fine.
