hotel took advantage of all...

Liked: just 2mi from Penn State campus and accommodations were clean.
Disliked: not worth the $330/night rate. no breakfast included. pillows were small and very flimsy.

Helpful, accommodating staff.

Liked: The location was excellent.
Disliked: There were folks in the adjacent room who were LOUDLY arguing in the early morning hours for a lengthy period of time. When I called the front desk to request help they addressed it very quickly. Silence ensued.

If you go to State...

Liked: The Garden Inn was an excellent choice! The staff was very friendly and professional. We felt welcomed right away. They learned our names and greeted us every morning. Restaurant staffers were always friendly, and the food was very good.
Disliked: Nothing at all
