The hotel was very clean and inviting. The location was excellent.
Liked: It was close to Pheasant Run. The room was clean and inviting. The lobby was very nice.
Disliked: Front desk staff were a little brief and snippy.

Disliked: In the hotel that is in downtown magnificent mile the parking garage is outrageously priced!!! I have never paid sooo much for parking anywhere! The other thing I didn't like was that the housekeeping lady came and banged on my door too early. 8:05 a.

Severely disappointing, I held Hilton...
Liked: I liked the location.
Disliked: 1. The bathroom was dirty. I left a note for housekeepers to clean the bathroom focusing on smears on the light switch and bathroom door knob. 2. The air conditioner was loud. 3. The lady that checked us in was racist and rude.

Liked: My server in the restaurant. The pillows and bed were comfy and nicely done.
Disliked: I actually took pictures because it was so surprising. I love Hilton properties, but this one doesn't deserve the Hilton label. My room smelled like smoke and stale air. The shower curtain was torn the full width of the shower. Big dark stain that looked like nicotine on the sink faucet that could have been removed with a bit of effort and an SOS pad. Disgusting. There wasn't an extra blanket as there usually is. The refrigerator clicked 24 hours a day, so loudly that it woke up this sound sleeper. Very poor lighting in the back lot where I was directed to park, and I was a woman coming home alone after a concert to this dark lot, where I entered through a back door, next to an overflowing ashtray that was filled with rainwater and smelled terrible for the entire stay. I was greeted and spoken to very rudely by the woman at the desk the very first day and again when I bought snacks. She needs to get a new job. I did eat in the makeshift restaurant the last night, where the attentive server was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Food was average.On my way out, I had a question and went to the desk. There were three customers waiting and no staff in sight, just a sign saying the clerk had stepped away. Somebody with some authority needs to get this place in line.

Nightmare. Below is the rollaway...
Liked: The room was spacious and clean and
Disliked: Check in was at 3:00 and I got there at 2:45 and the front desk lady who didn?t even greet me told me that the room was not ready. I asked her when should I come back and she told me I don?t know if it?s going to be 15 or 20 minutes because she doesn?t do housekeeping. When she answered like I got upset and told her that I will be back at 3 because that?s the check in time. I went back at 3:15. And even though she was with anyone she ignored me. Someone else came and asked me I could she helped me. I looked at the previous lady who was helping me even though she had ignored me to ask her if the room was ready she said I don?t know. So I gave the lady who came to ask me my last name and she told me that the room was ready and it was a king size bed. I said ma?am, I reserved 2 queen size beds. She said well I don?t know that?s what we have because we overbooked and we don?t have anymore rooms. I said to her that I booked 6 weeks ago and I don?t care if they overbooked because that?s not what I reserved. She told me that?s what booking.com sent to the hotel. I pulled my reservation and showed her. She dug through the reservation and found out that a staff member had changed my reservation. She told me do you want to call booking.com to cancel the reservation? I said are you kidding me? Where am I going to find a place now? She NEVER apologized to me and took the keys and went to the room as I didn?t have any other choices. Called booking.com and Christina went above and beyond to help me find a different hotel. I told her that I was going to spend the night there and move first thing in the morning which I did. She gave me a quote of 166.60 for the night and when I went to check out they charged my card 198.30 as I changed my date. This is a nightmare. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you?re dark skinned. I saw the way they treated the people before me in line who were Caucasian. Greeted them and everything. They?re treated me there like CRAP.

Liked: We had a high floor with a falls view...AMAZING VIEW!
Disliked: Parking was a bit expensive...35 a night, a bit steep since the room was more than --- a night and there is no where else to park

An immaculate, modern facility providing...
Liked: Everything! From the first greeting to our final departure we enjoyed our stay. The facility was clean, staff very accommodating, breakfast great and our room was pristine and comfortable. The pool area was superior, lobby was beautiful; they even provided business and exercise rooms. Can not think of anything they missed in order to provide a comfortable and appealing stay ... Hilton Garden Inn had it all for us.
Disliked: Cannot think of a single thing. Great going Hilton Garden Inn.

Liked: Spacious interior and rooms, quiet, firm bed, courteous staff, located near Walmart and other restaurants
Disliked: Small and incomplete fitness center. Just a treadmill and an elliptical machine.

Quite satisfactory... nothing above n...
Disliked: Front desk wasn't SUPER friendly. I'd personally appreciate I bit more 'bubbly' or appreciative attitude upon check in & when asking for assistance.
