Absolutely wonderful hotel, I wish...

Liked: The property is absolutely stunning from the moment you pull up. Richard, the gentleman that checked us in, was very kind and knowledgeable. The room was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of towels! This is actually a big deal...I usually have to request additional towels at every hotel we stay at because they only give 2, we had 4 in the room! There is a very nice outdoor sitting area, cornhole boards, and putting green. Very nice selection in the snack area, also includes locally made gift items which I thought was very neat.
Disliked: The only complaints I have are...1- the bed was way to firm for our comfort level. Some folks may like that, but it prevented a good nite of sleep. 2-the smoke detector in the room was very bright when all the lights were off. It does an occasional flash every so often, I guess as a safety check, and you don't notice it with the lights on but it's rather bright with the lights off. 3- there was this lady from the bar that was hanging around the desk with her glass of wine. It made it kinda hard to conduct business at check-in and later when we came back downstairs to purchase drinks and snacks. I appreciate you have a bar, but patrons should have to stay in a certain area with their drinks to not disrupt business of other guests at the desk.
