Hilton Garden Inn Sioux City Riverfront

Liked: Like the central location and the swimming pool and the hours it was open. So many close at 10. It was nice to sit in the hot tub right before bed.
Disliked: While eating breakfast in the restaurant noticed a very huge spider on the floor. Hurried and finished eating because the spider came over by our table.

Liked: Rooms were nice; pool was great for the kids.

Quality large conference hotel with...

Liked: This conference hotel is large and very comfortable. I slept like a baby in it. The restaurant attached, Crave, was excellent. The location on the river is very nice.
Disliked: The staff gave us a room that looked directly onto the HVAC complex on the roof of the hotel. It was the ugliest view I've ever had. And it was noisy. Granted, when I asked for another room, I got one that was much better, but the very large hotel seemed nearly empty, so why would they give anyone this room unless it was the the only one available?

Liked: Nice location by the river with a walking path. Convenient to airport.
Disliked: A little too far to walk to downtown. A few more walkable restaurants would be nice.

An ok stay for one...

Liked: Room was large and clean. There is a park nearby - nice for dog-walking.
Disliked: High pet fee ($75). Also I was over-charged by $150. The front desk took care of it quickly once I went to talk to them however. The beds were bouncy.

Disliked: Prepaid on booking.com and the hotel tried to charge my card a couple times for the deposit and the room rate which was mdd up getting my card cancelled due to suspicious activity on 1st day of 10 day road trip.Bathtub was stained/dirty. Food options in lobby ridiculously overpriced
