Disgusting

Liked: The pool was closed for maintenance and we didn’t find out until we got there. The pool was the main reason I booked the hotel, as there were other more affordable options close by without a pool! When I asked why I wasn’t notified about the pool closure, I was told that it was a recent closure and they didn’t have time to notify guests. A hotel employee told me that it has been closed for months - so I was lied to and the amenities noted are a lie. Additionally, we tried to go for dinner to Drifters - but the chef didn’t show up to work, so there was no food. We went to the Hyatt instead. Finally, the buffet breakfast was really awful. Cold eggs and bacon that looked like it had been sitting for days, no tea, no warm food whatsoever. And the rooms and dining areas were filthy. I will never ever stay here again and will reconsider all Hilton properties in the future.

Liked: The fact that is was halfway to where we were traveling
Disliked: The pool was closed, the bed was uncomfortable, there were stains on bed covers, the shower was dirty. When we first arrived to the room everything was pulled like far away from the wall. Just overall wasn’t anything to be excited about.

I would stay again

Liked: The best was the lady in the reception helped me a lot
Disliked: That the cook was putting the bacon with his hands in the gloves. That is great but I am afraid he didn’t change his gloves while making scrambled eggs. I eat halal only so I was not comfortable with that

Disliked: The room had not been properly cleaned or inspected before my arrival. Numerous hairs from the previous guest were visibly scattered across multiple surfaces.

Liked: The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good. Drifters restaurant/pub food was appetizing and in nice portions. Drinks were cold served with friendly commentary which made our group feel relaxed and comfortable. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The odd piece of furniture had seen better days. Otherwise rooms felt comfortable and quiet.

Disliked: The common restrooms in the lobby area were not with soap and need attention. It is a safety issue with the Dining facilities close by.
