Michael Weir (concierge) was excellent and a credit to the hotel.
Liked: Staff were great. Rooftop pool was great.

This was a nice sized, clean, comfortable room. The staff was nice, helpful, and courteous. There was a microwave, fridge, and a large TV in the room. The rooms were quiet and nice and dark. The hotel is conveniently located. I would definitely visit this hotel again.

Disliked: The front desk man that checked us in was extremely rude and I felt very talked down to. After a long day of traveling during our check in process we found out that even though we’d booked and paid for our rooms several months in advanced our rooms weren’t even on the same floor. They also were trying to say I booked 4 rooms when I only booked two. I tried multiple times to show the guy my confirmation for the reservation and he wouldn’t give me the time of day. He also made me charge my card two separate times for a fee that wasn’t listed on the policies- when I kindly asked if we could just do it all one fee he snapped that it had to be separate. Later that night while we were all sleeping my mother got a call that woke her up stating that the man that had checked us in had done it wrong and canceled the wrong rooms so we would have to pay all over again- shortly after I received and email that my whole reservation had been canceled. The next morning at check out the same gentleman that had checked us in the night prior was at the desk- when I asked him what all we needed to do to fix the reservation he had absolutely no idea what I was talking about- I even tried to show him the email which again he wouldn’t give me the time of day. This facility really needs to get it together and get on the same page. If you’re going to work in customer service I definitely recommend being more friendly and welcoming. For the amount of money we paid to stay here and for how early we booked- again- it would’ve been very nice to be treated kindly and have our rooms together. We definitely plan on returning to New Orleans but we will NEVER book a stay at this place again.
