Hilton Garden Inn Minneapolis Airport/Mall Area MN

Convenient location to shopping areas we visitedl. Friendly staff and room clean and comfortable. Ordered dinner in using menu hotel provided. Arrived when they said it would, meal hot and tasty.

Disliked: Pool area, chlorine too strong, pool cold.

It served our needs just...

Liked: The staff was welcoming, professional and efficient. Andrea was particularly responsive. [I hope I got that name right, as I have misplaced my note.] Our trip was unanticipated (and sad) and staff were very helpful with my (more than usual) number of questions. THEY are the reason I would stay here again.
Disliked: The facility itself was adequate, as was the breakfast. I may have had my expectations set a bit too high. Please note that I would NOT discourage a friend or family member from staying here.

Liked: All of the staff were very friendly. The drinks at the bar were made to perfection (Thanks, Robb). And the food (I had the "Simply grilled salmon, veggies and brown rice/quinoa medley) was out of this world delicious!!!
Disliked: Sadly, I really need a stiff mattress. The bed was too soft for me. And, the laundry uses way too much bleach on the bedding. Literally, hard to breathe in.

Disliked: We made our reservations through Booking. I had sent a message through requesting connecting rooms but when I got there to check in, there were no connecting rooms available. The best they could do was put us across from each other. Advised that we would have to call in advance to arrange that as its a first come first serve, which wouldve been nice to know. Also having to pay for parking as we were guests for the weekend...not for airport use .
