Hilton Garden Inn Milwaukee Downtown

Liked: It was very clean and Clint who works at the front desk was very accommodating and nice.

The hotel was old but very beautiful. I loved looking at all the old buildings in the blocks surrounding the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just a couple minutes walk to a lot of locations, such as the Riverside Theater or the Safe House. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

Disliked: Bathroom needs shower repair and peeling wallpaper. The vents may need to be cleaned, woke up very congested.

Another excellent Hilton experience

Liked: The hotel & restaurant staff were extremely helpful and accommodating! We arrived at check-in with a request of late check out due to having an online interview the following day (it had not been part of the plan when the hotel was originally booked). Front desk was able to allow us to stay in our room a bit longer to complete this and avoid some unnecessary stress with a morning scramble. Additionally, our room was great but we found out after a little bit that the heating/cooling wasn't working correctly. One call to the front desk though and we were immediately moved to make sure we'd be comfortable throughout the night. As for the restaurant, we had dinner when we first arrived - mainly out of convenience. However, it turned out to be a great move because the food was excellent! The next morning we made sure to stop down for the breakfast buffet and were once again, full and happy. A birthday mimosa was able to be found as well ;)
Disliked: The original room was a king and would have been better due to being interior/courtyard view. We knew the morning sun wouldn't wake us and the city noise would be at minimum. However, we would have cooked! The room we were moved to had an exterior view so there was some traffic noise and only a queen sized bed (only one of us noticed this part).

Liked: Historic building, beautifully maintained in a suburb location to the Riverside Theatre and food venues. Parking across the street and staff who prioritize their guests!

I really enjoyed my stay....

Liked: The inside was amazing. Very put together. Very clean. Even saw people getting photos done there.
Disliked: The location was iffy just cause it’s on a busy road which is unavoidable. So not a thing to ruin my experience just made it a little difficult to access only because that was my first time in Milwaukee as well.
