Exceptional

Liked: The STAFF! Every person was not only courteous but willing to help. Great customer service! The room was clean and comfortable.

Location, Deposit Fraud

Liked: Location is good, close to subway station and Manhattan. Room is comfortable and cozy. Staff gave us coffee pods and cups each time we asked, which was very convenient.
Disliked: Deposit is nightmare with this hotel. they suppose to charge USD 400 for deposit which told us while we were checking in but they charged hotel price plus deposit fee for deposit while we checked out. and it took 30 days sharp to refund the all the amount which took all my credit card line for a month. i couldn't use my credit card until i got the refund, this was not cool, don't pay with your credit card!

Superb

Disliked: The room was a little cramped, with the sleeper open- it was impossible to walk around. The bed was so close to the closet door that I kept hitting myself with the closet door handles just getting out of the bed. Everything else was great!

Bad

Liked: I really frustrated with the front desk service. There is bed bugs, my left arms all bite. I reported it to the front desk, they only mentioned that no one can come at that moment and they don’t care about my google review. No more next time.

Liked: Easy to reach from JFK and easy to get to Manhatten
Disliked: They do NOT have a rooftop to go to - the photos are misleading! Overall pictures are suggesting the place to be much lighter than it is, while this place has gotten a bit old and does not deserve a >8 overall rating anymore.There were bugs in the gym, the room was not fully clean, the sofa to sleep for a third person was not comfortable and was rather old… The price/value was bad - when paying 250USD for a night one should expect more, even in that location (even for the little water bottles in the room they charge 3 USD each, if not member of whatever club…)

Great price, great location, comfortable...

Liked: Really lovely hotel and great price for its location! Really comfy beds and pillows.20 Min Uber to central Manhattan or 30 min Subway ride. The hotel food was amazing! We had dinner one night, as we arrived late from the airport, and the food was really good - we recommend the Fish & Chips. They have a small 'shop' next to the reception with drinks and snacks and it's open 24hrs which was really good too. The soundproofing from outside noise was really good, there's a subway track nearby and it's very loud with the windows open but as soon as you close the windows you can't hear a thing. We were also right next to the lifts, but again we heard nothing!
Disliked: The only things we experienced negatively was the loud people right outside our door that woke us up both nights.
