Hilton Garden Inn Lafayette/Cajundome

Chose the place for convenience. Expected to get a good nights sleep for the price. Bed was not at all comfortable. Gumbo was good. It was more of a Creole flavor as oppossed to a Cajun flavor. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras here and the service was excellent! We are from Lafayette and know that they are generally friendly people, but every employee we passed had warm smiles and greetings and we were very impressed at the friendliness of all we met. They always asked if they could do any more to make our stay more pleasant. It was wonderful accommodations and we will stay again!!!

Liked: The employees at the registration desk were very accommodating, and friendly.
Disliked: The ironing board covers have no padding and will leave marks in your clothing when you use them. Iron was too light and leaks water instead of steaming when water is added. I went to Walmart and purchased a cover so my clothes would look like they normally do.

Overall, the stay was fine.

Liked: Great location-very clean. Staff were super nice. Room was nice and clean.
Disliked: The bed was too soft. The hairdryer plug did not fit in the outlet in the bathroom or by the coffee maker. Very strange…..and there were no stir sticks for the coffee condiments either.
