Hubby and I went to see Chris Young perform at Thompson-Boling Arena which was easy to get to from this location. You could walk there in better weather. Just outside the university and many fast food places were there and nicer dining, as well.
Liked: The valet service was great; the room was clean and comfortable; the breakfast was exceptional. The entire staff from front desk, valet and wait staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The shower door only opened on one side - that didn't allow for me to test the water before getting in. Getting in and out of the hotel was tricky due to construction and the hotel front was in an alley.

Liked: Great service; clean rooms.
Disliked: Our room was right next to the elevator so we could hear it all day/night.

Liked: The location and staff were great. Walking distance to restaurants and the Hospital we were there for. Quiet rooms and comfortable bed
Disliked: I didn't know the lounge and restaurant were under construction and that is one of the reasons I picked it. They did not have soda or water machines available. Also the décor in the bathroom was a little dated

Liked: Location was great. Room was clean.
Disliked: Car blocked road into McDonald?s parking lot. Loved the sliding bathroom door in newly remodeled part but was strange because door had latch but no way to close door completely. Also no USB charging ports on lights, radio or plugs. Had to have your own to plug in. Many newly remodeled hotels have radios with ports.

Liked: The location is excellent and close to the college! The room was clean, and the staff was great.
Disliked: The hotel was under construction during my stay and there was no room service or restaurant open at the hotel. I heard they had one coming to open at another time.

Liked: We went for a Volunteer Home game and were able to walk to the arena, which was awesome, as traffic is a nightmare! Staff were super nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Many places to eat within walking distance.
Disliked: Pricey, for off season. Only parking option was valet.

Don?t bother staying here
Disliked: Where to begin...The entire property is under construction. So all of those amenities/facilities they list on their site are not available. The pictures on the website of the lobby- not real because it?s just a front desk in a dark room. No gym, no breakfast- sign in the elevator about the dust due to the construction. The major kicker is the nearly $22 valet fee. When we went to check out and voice our concerns about our stay, there was already another disappointed guest at the front desk with the same list of complaints we had! We told the woman at the front desk about the appearance of the hotel and the fact that none of the facilities were open because they were under construction, she said ?sorry you were misinformed- because you booked with booking.com it is their fault? meanwhile the volunteer hotel?s own website doesn?t mention any of this either. I explained to her- this is not guests being misinformed, this is false advertising. I would not have booked a night here had I known.
