Hilton Garden Inn Kennett Square

We will stay again when we attend an event at Longwood Gardens, because of the hospitality of the employees. There were a few minor problems with the room but again, because of the thoughtfulness, helpfulness and great attitude of the employees we enjoyed our stay.

Disliked: Pool could’ve been a little warmer but I am really nitpicking.

Disliked: Pay $300 for a hotel and no morning free breakfast in the lobby is not acceptable. Bed was average comfort at best.

Place would be great if...

Liked: Almost everything aside from the management and some of the staff.
Disliked: The manager on duty. I have a lot to say provided it’s neither of the managers that contact me about my stay. I could deal with not hearing from them again.

Liked: Hotel was clean, great mattress quiet wonderful shower
Disliked: The whole stay there- and it was only 2 nights was marred by the fact that when we arrived they did not have our reservation. Luckily I had printed out the info from booking.com That did not help- the staff kept saying that it was not their fault that it was booking.coms fault- you should never book through a third party etc. they had rooms for 2 nights but not the third- so we had to find a hotel for the third night- the whole area was booked up, we called at least 5 hotels before we finally got one- at a huge cost to us, pack up , move for one night. plus we were there for my father's funeral so we did not need this added problem. They all kept saying they were overbooked for that third night- was does that mean? You intentionally do this to someone else? They whole story seems bizarre to me and the staff was very "oh, too bad" and did nothing to help.
