Hilton Garden Inn Irvine Spectrum Lake Forest

Our rooms were great, complete with a Keurig and three coffee pods, microwave and fridge. Staff was super friendly.

Liked: Friendly staff; clean rooms.
Disliked: Expensive breakfast.

Disliked: Desk lamp not working because the 2 outlets were taken by other devices (tv, etc) ...the USB charging outlets didn't work--all of them....finally, there was a $20 nightly charge for parking that was not noted in booking. com site or in hotel's emails- very poor practice

Disliked: We were given a queen size bed and we had paid for a king size. But everything else was fine.

Liked: You have to pay for breakfast. It's okay, but on the heavy, unhealthy side, except for the avocado toast.
Disliked: Coffee not available until 6 am (I was coming from abroad) and limited gym. Cheap, skimpy towels and low water pressure in the shower. There was only a shower and no complementary shower cap. Air conditioning was very "all or nothing", either a howling gale blowing straight at the bed or off entirely.

It was comfortable and close...

Liked: It was located close to pretty much everything including Irvine spectrum. The facilities were very clean. They also had designated spots for our pet to walk and have potty breaks.
Disliked: It was right next to the freeway. There was no free continental breakfast included. And, we had to pay a $50 pet fee for our pet to stay with us.
