Disliked: They need to mention that parking is $40 per night and you HAVE to give it to the valet. NOPE. We parked 2 blocks down and paid $15 per night. Save your money

Liked: Fantastic location. 5 minutes from the heart of Hollywood Boulevard. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wifi was really fast - and free.
Disliked: We booked this mainly looking at the pool. But when we went there one evening, it said pool heater was broken. My son was still Ok with a cold pool. He saw that it was filled with leaves and worms and all kinds of filth. And he found something floating in the jacuzzi also. Disgusting and disappointing. Restaurant in the hotel was closed ALL THE TIME. $40 per day for parking was a bit much. And on top of that, you *had* to use the valet. Which means you had to let front desk know a few minutes ahead of time that you were leaving. And then of course you tip the valets each time (nice folks, can't not do that). So parking and valet - multiply by 5 and it all adds up. Had more of a "motel" feel. Just one electrical outlet between the beds. With all of our phones and laptops and iPads, we were fighting for the one slot next to the bed. The other slot was at the end of the room, not helpful for charging and lying down and watching something. Double-beds somehow felt a bit smaller than at most other hotels. Was not very comfortable for 2. Overall, below average experience.
