I feel vulnerable and unsafe

Liked: pretty building and easy location
Disliked: They were changing all the locks of all the rooms so they could not give me a key, they called up to third floor and a man let me in. He did not introduce himself and it left me feeling unsafe. A women traveling alone should not have to deal with this. They also announced my room number at the front desk, that is unsafe. I also wanted to use the pool but could not because the path was blocked by the lock smith people. I also kept hearing the locks on my floor being rattled and it made me feel unsafe, I ended up baricading my door with a chair in order to feel safe while sleeping, I had a terrible nights sleep.

Liked: We were staying on the third floor and we got on the elevator, when we came out to the first floor there was a sign on the elevator we were in that said out of order. There was also a big cone right in front of the elevator door that my friend tripped on. When we told the woman at the register about it and said there needs to be signs on all floors or they need to stop the elevator, she said that she is not an elevator specialist, and Maintenance isn’t in until later

Liked: Cleanliness was excellent. Staff was knowledgeable and excellent. Location was perfect for our purpose . I sleep on an extremely firm mattresses the mattress was a little soft for my taste.
Disliked: Upon arrival to the room the curtains were ragged and torn. That was my only complaint.

Liked: We had to travel there for a family funeral and it was clean, comfortable, and the staff were helpful. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant which was convenient and the food was very good. The people who served us on both days were very friendly and nice.
Disliked: During the night there was sometimes a really loud sound, like an engine of a train or something, seemingly right oustide our window. Maybe a generator or incinerator? It was pretty loud for a while.
