Pleasant - 3.0 out of 5

Brend S, Sturgis, visiting Ford Field Mon, 10 November 2014

We chose this hotel because we were coming in for a football game. I was never told upon booking the room (booked 2 rooms) that not only would we be required to pay a daily hotel parking fee of $22, but on Sunday we would also be charged an additional $40 fee to leave our vehicles in the lot! We paid almost $300 a night for each room plus the $22 daily hotel parking fee and then to find out we had to pay an additional parking fee on top of that was outrageous! We have traveled to numerous cities and stayed overnight at a hotel and this was the FIRST time we have EVER had to pay an additional "game day" parking fee! We were never told at the time of booking nor upon check in. Also, we went to the restaurant for breakfast - they were not only understaffed, but the guy seating people had no clue as to what he was doing.

Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Mick, Canada Mon, 4 March 2013

Great location. Friendly staff and clean room. Only complaint was the air was a little dry in the room but it is the middle of winter and really cold outside!

Liked: Clean, pleasant staff.
Disliked: Dry air.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Stefanie, Brampton Tue, 12 February 2013

The hotel was great but the valet hit my door off the cement wall and I am still waiting for them to contact me regarding the claim I filed. Totally ruined my hotel experience. Also the heating/air conditioning is very loud.

Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Gloria, Downriver area Tue, 10 July 2012

Check in was 3p.m. - got there at 4p.m. and the room was not ready, so had to wait about 20 minutes. However, the room when available was a pleasant surprise - very clean and fresh smelling. It was a large room with a large bathroom, and a large closet space. Cannot comment on room service, but front desk staff were very nice. I would book again, but I do feel it was a little overpriced.

Liked: Large, clean rooms.
Disliked: Overpriced.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Hannah, Detroit Mon, 23 April 2012

Good location.

Liked: Pretty clean.
Disliked: The walls were bare, no paint or wall paper. $20 a night for parking in their parking lot. Breakfast is 12 bucks a person and it sucks - the pantry for snacks and emergency items is way overpriced. There is no one ever at the front desk, you have to wait forever for someone to come so you can pay for your item. The creamer in the room for the coffee way very old and spoiled. They gave us two packets of sugar and one packet of coffee and you couldn't have anymore. Only two cups, really? Walls are thin. Just way too expensive.

Liked: Our room was very comfortable and the service desk lady was very pleasant to work with and made us feel right at home. We would stay there again.
