Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach Oceanfront

Great location, accommodating staff!

Liked: Very easy to check in and out. Clean, staff was wonderful!
Disliked: People putting up chairs and umbrellas for rent and took up the entire beach by hotel, small space for people to use beach without having to pay for chairs

Liked: It’s great location to beach and stores
Disliked: The back gate from pool to beach is unlocked . We noticed people pulling up on beach to come swim and leave .

Nice location and amenities with...

Liked: Staff was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Heather makes great long islands. Room was clean, nice side view of ocean from 2nd floor balcony.
Disliked: That mattress was way too hard, flat pillows. Too pet friendly for my taste.

Liked: Likes the ability to just walk down a few steps and be on the beach.
Disliked: Was sure I booked a balcony room and when we got there is was not. Feel like I paid a lot for a room without a balcony.

Disliked: Outside bar service was very slow and then they closed it completely on father's because,as I was told by management, all the staff called ot sick

I wouldn't stay at this...

Liked: The room was very clean, except for the microwave, it was moldy, very unpleasant, I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, the view horrible, the view was the elevator wall and the roof of the lobby, I paid $222.00 + tax the first night and $220.00 + tax the second night, for that?, They also didn't honor my Hilton Honors points because I made the reservation with a third party.
Disliked: Nothing, the reception person at check-in was not very pleasant, and the following days he never said good morning to us. Very disappointing. The housekeeping person was excellent. I wouldn't go back, and I don't recommend it to anyone.

Other than those few things...

Liked: Good walking location for nearby stores, beach is close
Disliked: Our shower did have ants, sugar ants I think and some towels/linen still had bits of hair in it. Obviously had been washed just maybe not checked over
