Overall it met our needs...
Liked: It was a decent location in downtown- valet parking was easy and very nice- easy drop off and pick up- check in staff very nice and helpful - room decent - liked having a great restaurant on site- free HBO nice to relax to at night
Disliked: Our view wasn't the best- valet price for overnight a bit pricey- other Hilton Gardens I have stayed at had a free breakfast

Liked: The area is full of restaurants, bars, shopping and sites. Subway station located directly beneath the hotel gives access to all of Chicago.
Disliked: Parking is very expensive. My car was parked for 26 hours and it cost me $95. And that was for self-park, not valet!

Comfortable and safe place to...
Liked: Conveniently located to the L and walking distance to downtown area attractions and shopping
Disliked: Only one way to get in and out, and you have to walk through a sea of unpacked cars in the Valet area

It was expensive. I expected...
Liked: It was clean. And close to everything.
Disliked: The bed was sunken in. The parking is ridiculous cost. I would like to have a better view. I could only see the building next to it. We came on the same weekend as the Chicago Marathon, bad idea.

Disliked: Hotel had a strike and very disruptive around the hotel . A.c. in room was to loud . In room phone was poor.

Horrible Stay at Hilton Garden
Liked: Location. Nothing else.
Disliked: I was given a room next to the elevator and vending/ice machine. When I asked about the flashing light in my room, the answer was I don't know, no follow up. When it rained, the TV went down. To be in a hotel for 13 nights, it was very disappointing. I am a Hilton Honors member, I expected more. When I checked out, I was not asked "how was your stay."
