Liked: The pillows were a little flat, although the bed was very comfortable. I would suggest getting more firmer pillows.

Liked: This location and facility was perfect for our visit to the National Music Centre. Very nice room and all the staff were very friendly.

Great place to stay for...

Disliked: Although this hotel is close to downtown and the Saddledome, it is right on the edge of downtown with trains running by continuously.

Would have been great if...

Liked: Staff were excellent, from front desk staff when I checked in through housekeeping, maintenance, security, bar / restaurant, all the way to check out the staff were wonderful!The shower is powerful and the toiletries nice. The floors are solid (don’t squeak / can’t hear people walking around above you) and the rooms have all you need. Housekeeping service frequency is set by you. The pool is nice when it’s quiet (I found this to be early afternoon). Great location in terms of proximity to attractions and transport.
Disliked: The other guests! I was woken up five times between midnight and 4am one night by other guests, one of whom was singing in the hallway! A group of men hanging out by the balcony / elevators on the first floor felt it appropriate to make derogatory comments whilst I was waiting for the elevator after having decided against swimming because there were clearly far more than the limit in the hot tub, unaccompanied children screaming, and it was just too busy and loud for me. Also, the pillows were quite poor, felt old and used, not very comfortable.The lighting is a bit off too - the main room has about five lamps and no big / main light so you move around the room switching lamps on and off in the evening! Finally, I didn’t personally rate the restaurant but I think that was personal taste and, again, the staff were fantastic.

Liked: Cleanliness, facilities available. Staff very helpful
Disliked: Lounge only opened till 10. Parking to check in needs to be explained as there is no street parking by hotel.

Liked: New and comfortable bed good location, near the Downtown and China Town.
Disliked: Parking fees little high, Area so many homeless.
