Very disappointed

Liked: I was close by to where we needed to be
Disliked: The room was terrible. The lights by the bed could not be turn off without standing up. you cannot turn on the shower without getting wet The room waseither too hot or too cold.

It was good

Liked: Beautiful facility, beautiful room, good breakfast and SPA
Disliked: Was no room service for day 2 of stay(Towels, bedding , coffee, cream, wasn’t refreshed )

Liked: Arvada is a tourist town. So we did not eat at the hotel, but walked to a local eatery.
Disliked: Everything was great. One of the best USA hotels we have visited.

Guaranteed reservation is meaningless.

Liked: Nice and clean facility
Disliked: I was surprised to discover at check-in that my confirmed reservation through Booking.com was $62 MORE than what my reservation showed. This was explained to me as the difference in TAX, but no, let's be serious, this was a hotel junk fee. It took almost an hour to clear up and required several phone calls to the reservation service and the hotel. I don't know which was at fault, but this should NEVER happen. Additionally, it was a nonrefundable reservation and I was told that if I didn't pay the extra fees, I would forfeit the $161 of my prepayment - total BS for sure! In the end, I paid about $20 more than my guarenteed reservation was supposed to be, but it was necessary to avoid a no-show for my business meeting at this rip-off hotel. This review is the hotel's penalty for that power play. BEWARE!
