Liked: Location was downtown and near the convention center.

I would not stay here...

Liked: The location was good and the staff was friendly. The rooms were very spacious.
Disliked: One of the rooms the air did not work properly, so it was very hot and never cooled down. The other room the air had a bad smell and it was shooting over the bed. So we slept with an odor similar to dirty feet all night. We did not like the pillows. Disappointed in how the front desk handled my complaint about the air in both rooms. The parking fee is high.

Liked: Staff was friendly, accommodated me to second room when I was unleaded with the first.
Disliked: The first room smelled heavy of mold and filth, the second room had a slight odor and a toilet that continually ran. The tiller was stained yellow from improper cleaning practices.

A hotel with a story...

Liked: There’s a lot of hotels to choose from around the Convention Centre/Sundance Square area. In the end we chose the Hilton because of its historical connection (the place where JFK spent his last night). In the end it’s a comfortable hotel and reasonably well appointed, but we couldn’t help thinking there might be more comfort nearby for a lower cost if we hadn’t been so smitten with the history.
Disliked: While the hotel provided reasonable value it was nothing exceptional for the price, and we felt more could have been done to highlight the story of JFK’s last 24 hours. The photo displays were nice, but I kept felling more could be done to make guests feel that were really walking in history’s wake. With this in mind there’s also a fine line between feeling dated and feeling historic. Beyond the lobby this hotel is right on that line.
