Nice room, called down to say clock radio did not work they said they would send one right up, never did? Handle came off balcony door from the outside! So got stuck on balcony for a while! Over price valet parking at 32 bucks! And Internet at 14.95 a day ? Really? I would think paying 300 bucks a night for a room, that should all be complimentary? Wouldn't ya? Beds are very comfy and room was clean !

Great location, but impersonal, poor...

Liked: Location is excellent. Literally a walk out of the hotel and you are at the beach.
Disliked: Valet is expensive at $65 per day. This mounts up quickly!The pool area small and is on the 6th floor. It gets full quickly so there was never a lounger for us as a four person family. You can go on a wait list, but this is pointless.We were entitled to two beach chairs, but guess what? There was never any available for us. So again, a wait list. What's the point? Useless.Also the maid service. We were there three nights and had maid service for only one day. Plus, on our arrival we had booked a room for four, with the kids on the pull out in the lounge area. But on arrival, and in the evening no bed was made up for us, and no bedding in the room to do it. After a call to reception, a maid arrived with bedding, but only one pillow. I explained we had two kids, but she complained that she only had one pillow, and all were 'out'. Only after I insisted we had two children did she begrudgingly come back later with another pillow saying how hard it was for her to find a single pillow in closets around the hotel. And no offer to make up the pull out at all, or even a smile.The next few days I had to call reception to get a maid come and change the wet towels from the day before.Overall this was poor service and tainted it.Location of the hoel is great for the beach, but the choice of eating establishments is quite limited. There's not a great deal of choice for breakfasts of general family diners. More like bars and very expensive in hotel restaurants.

Lovely short stay.

Liked: The location and pool were very good.
Disliked: The lifts were very, very slow. There seemed to be only two out of four of them working on arrival day. Three of the four were working on check-out which helped.Also, there was a problem with the hot water. It was cold to tepid for showers/baths.

Liked: The location is great.
Disliked: The elevators had ridiculously long lines. The property has 4 but only 2 were operational for hotel guests and one is exclusively used for the rooftop bar (separate from hotel). Our basic room was actually part of a suite with a shared hallway entrance. It was awful. None of this was communicated to us. The bathroom had mold. And housekeeping insisted on delivering hangers despite my husband specifically asking them to come back. It was an expensive three nights where our money would have been better spent elsewhere.

Disliked: Very expensive. I feel at check in there was a bait and switch to try to make us upgrade. Sales technique that was obvious.
