Why Concert-goers love it

Location, location, location. Just steps from Waverley Station, you can hop off the train and be checking in within minutes. Popular concert venues and late-night spots are all within easy walking distance, meaning no need for cabs or complicated transport after the show. Thick walls and comfy beds provide a quiet retreat post-gig, and with a 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out, the timing works well for both early arrivals and slow starts the next day.

Areas for Improvement

  • Some guests found the hallways a bit dated compared to the sleek lobby

Completely disappointing

Liked: Beds comfortable room is clean and good sizeStaff were generally helpful
Disliked: It’s been the most horrifying hotel to stay in for that price!I came with a toddler who has difficulty walking on his own. I chose the hotel based on proximity to the train station but little did I know that with all the construction going on, it was impossible to access the hotel even when I could see it on e market street. Granted after getting lost for awhile carrying a sleeping toddler in my arms with luggage to lug, the hotel staff did come and get me through an unofficial door leading to the street. I had to ask the doorman of the Scotsman hotel to direct me to Hilton.Hotel is completely DIFFICULT TO ACCESS, even taking the cab back the uber driver dropped me in the next street and another uber driver cancelled on me to pick me up because of the hotel location. The air within the hotel is musty with very low ceilings. Lifts are limited (only 2 with only 1 to access the lounge/ breakfast area) so there is always a queue to wait for the lift and it is so small that only 4-5 people can barely get in the lift if there are no luggages. We just walked the stairs daily to breakfast as a result.Walls are porous in the hotel. I had to put up with giggling gossiping girls (next door to me) throughout the night and in the early morning because of an interconnecting door which was completely unwarranted. I stayed in an executive king room. I had to endure this for all 3 nights and so did my toddler who ended up sleeping late and being dysregulated. I had very poor sleep as a result.Access to the hotel room was like a maze. Having to managed stairs going up and down on the same floor. For me it was fine, but elderly people or people with motor issues should avoid.I have made 6 bookings over the last 2 months and travel very often. This is the most disappointing hotel I’ve stayed in. I wouldn’t choose Hilton ever again. There is NO SECURITY in the hotel as anyone can get to the room floors as the lifts do not require cards to access the specific floors.

Nice place as you’d expect...

Liked: The location, it was excellent.
Disliked: Having only one way in/out, through the main entrance only, was a bit inconvenient as our room was as far from the main entrance as it could be.

Glad we stayed. Hilton did...

Liked: Good size room with all the amenities you need when traveling long distance. There was plenty of space to house 2 large suitcases and two carry on bags without the room looking like a tornado hit and still had plenty of room to walk around. Absolutely excellent location.
Disliked: The dining room is in a windowless basement. While ok for breakfast, I could not imagine eating there at any other time. Also staff not accommodating. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast which was included We went downstairs to get a take out coffee, and we were told not possible. . It was almost 7, but they were rigid on that. Paris would not be happy with that.
