Liked: Arrived an was asked for ID then had to pay extra for car park and extra for a deposit there was no breakfast included staff wasn’t helpful
Disliked: Staff weren’t helpful too expensive and will never be back never got sleep due to noisy room next door told the manager and was brushed off

Disliked: The beds were soft & sunken in. Pillows old & when i announced this to reception; i received a steely angry response

Liked: We were generally pleased with the stay at the hotel. The location was very conveniently located next to a tram stop making sightseeing a breeze.To finish off on a positive note, the staff at the reception have been very good and helpful.
Disliked: The not good: 1. the sound proofing is not what I would call Hilton standard, namely the doors to the room. There is no privacy for the people talking in the hallway or the room. 2. The room doors are horrible, not soft closing but banging loudly when shutting. With people going in and out all the time there is a constant loud banging. This could be alleviated by adding rubber seals to the doors and soft closing door closers. Again, not Hilton standard. 3. Bathrooms are looking very tired, lousy attempt at resurfacing bathtub visible. Soap holder falling off. 4. Fire alarm went off one morning. OK, not much that can be done about that. The staff that was in the hallway when it happened was in complete panic rather than assisting the guests with evacuation or finding out whether it is a false alarm. Next someone tried to re-set the fire detection system but that didn't work well at all. For about an hour the alarm kept going off on an interval of a few minutes. Drove everyone crazy

Liked: The room was nice and was clean
Disliked: The air conditioning was extremely noisy and sounded like a tractor, so it couldn’t be put overnight to keep the room cool. There was an alarm clock which had been set to 5am but not reset so that woke us very early. We couldn’t put the air conditioning on to cool the room. Then the fire alarm went off, which was outside the control of the hotel, and we were told it was set off by a guest. However, it took an hour of intermittent bursts of the alarm for the hotel to reset it which was very frustrating.

Liked: Clean room
Disliked: Tram lines below the window. Noise was very loud when we opened the window for fresh air. The fire alarm went off repeatedly at about 8am on Sunday morning.
