Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort

Thought the Doc Bales restaurant was very good; the pool area was clean and the room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Loved the boardwalk and the plaza will be lovely when renovations are complete.

For the amount of money I paid for this hotel, I should have gone to The Plaza Resort & Spa. The lobby's were very nice and updated. However, once I went up and the elevator doors open I knew what it was going to be bad. No fridge, no microwave, out-dated everything, had to pay $21 per night to even park, toilet didn't work properly, no hot water, they even charged quite a bit for wi-fi. I'll never go back there again.

Disliked: Couldn’t get to the beach without walking 1/4 mile because the stairs haven’t been replaced from a storm. At check in I had to pay a 150 deposit I was NOT prepared to pay therefore I then had limited money to eat with and it’s May 2,2025, I checked out on April 9 and I still haven’t been refunded. Our AC stopped working the last night we were there, I was very disappointed in my stay. This hotel used to be top notch, they have declined with the area and that’s disappointing.

Liked: I love the customer service at the front counter in South Tower, which is super friendly and helpful. I loved my room location also on the 5th floor. I'm definitely booking again next year.
Disliked: Have nothing to complain about.
