Liked: Lovely just what I needed

A wonderful hotel that allowed...

Liked: A lovely property with great facilities. The bedroom was great. The bed large and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. The staff friendly.
Disliked: This great hotel and our stay was marred by a reception that was so noisy until midnight on the second night of our stay. The noise of music was so bad that the bedroom vibrated. We couldn’t sleep and we felt violated by thoughtless guests and by a hotel that allowed such a noisy reception to take place. A hotel should allow its paid residents to have a good night’s sleep and you let us down. Sadly we shall be reluctant to ever return because we are not convinced that such an incident will occur again, especially a weekend. How sad that by not having clear guidelines with hirers about the level of noise that should be allowed, many guests of goodwill will potentially be prevented from a good night’s sleep.

It was okay, could easily...

Liked: The burgers were delicious. It was clean. Staff were pleasant. Setting was pretty. Request for no feathers in room was dealt with quickly.
Disliked: Room service both nights fell short. For example, no cutlery and cold food. Bed was super hard. Music was loud until midnight - be aware it is a wedding venue when booking. Guests have to pay extra for parking.

Liked: Rooms wellEquipped clean and comfortable
Disliked: No Internet! Might be WiFi but it doesn’t work. Had to rely on my 02servi e which was poor. My phone is iPhone 16 Pro so very up to date. I could not do any work or email. I could not use my phone to share Apple TV or Netflix with the tv so a night inThe room with nothing at all. I do think streaming tv should be available inA hotel if this price and standing g. No hotel has Tetrestrial only anymore My tooWas ground floor onto car park. Not pleasant. For £145 for night no breakfast or any entertainment except a few awful terrestrialChannels and no mobile phone.

Enjoyable stay at what I...

Liked: Breakfast varied and cooked items hot. Plates hot too. Pleasant staff. Huge comfortable bed, could have taken the pillows home with me.
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: Room was good as was breakfast . Staff were helpful.
Disliked: Paying to park at hotel was a disappointment. Not the hotels fault but traffic issues were a nuisance with roadworks .
