Hilton Cobham

Hilton not as great as...

Liked: The room was in the Garden section. It was a big room, had the normal things you would find in a Hilton room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: I find it incredible that Cobham Hilton which is in a very spacious area and has a big car park, charges their guests to use their carpark?! The restaurant menu was quite limited for a Hilton. The food was ok. The Korean burger, was served on what seemed to be a side plate with fries in a separate bowl, not a lettuce leaf in sight. You had to order a salad as an extra. The steak main was nothing special for the price I paid. Safe to say that the evening meal was too expensive for what really was served.. On a sad note, the lovely olive trees outside the restaurant are dying as they are not watered...

Comfortable and relaxing

Liked: Comfortable bed, lovely large fluffy towels, good breakfast range, most staff friendly and helpful
Disliked: No privacy from car park, no drinking water, biscuits or hair dryer in room would expect this considering the price of the room, non meat items at breakfast mixed next to meat items - not great for vegetarians

Exceptional

Liked: Lovely staff, especially the gentleman at the night shift, who greeted us warmly at midnight, and was eager to help us out with anything we needed. Absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was top notch. Nice quiet scenery around the location.
Disliked: Big flies at breakfast which i think is because the hotel is right in the middle of the woods.
