Love this hotel!

Liked: I loved this hotel! Our room was huge, there was tons of storage available, desk, tables, a sofa - I could easily have lived here for months, so for a week it was luxury. The neighbourhood couldn’t be better, close enough to everything but away from the more frantic areas near Time Square. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. This was our last stop after two months travel, staying at over 2 dozen hotels. The beds here were absolutely the most comfortable! The room had all the amenities o e could want and they very generously replaced water, Nespresso and tea daily. I would happily stay here next time I visit NYC.
Disliked: We felt a bit pressured by the doormen/support staff to tip. They were always “helping” whether we needed it or not and then expected tips. For example, calling a cab. We can get our own taxis! But that’s the culture there, something we are not used to

Liked: Comfortable and modern room, clean, good bed. Staff were always helpful. Great location, next to central park.
Disliked: Rather expensive, but this is NY afterall

Highly recommended as it is...

Liked: Location to all the major tourist sights are accessible in NYC. Housekeeping is good and accomodative. Staff at the reception are helpful with our questions on the subway etc. It is a great place to stay in the Big apple.
Disliked: Lift can be a little slow and congested at peak hours. There is a salesperson at the lift lobby selling coupons for tours and restaurants. I think she is a little big intrusive and sells too hard. But small matter, we told her firmly what we do not need the services. Not a big issue and some might even find it helpful.

Great stay

Liked: Great little hotel in an excellent location. It has everything one needs and the rooms are good sized by large city standards. Staff wonderful. This was our second stay and we plan to stay there again.
Disliked: Nothing

Luckily your bell guys (Jefferson)...

Liked: Staff great and friendly
Disliked: Window not thick and heard all the honking. But the worst part was restaurant (mnot bar people). Thought first day breakfast went bad but second day was horrible. Order wrong, cold coffee, food coming out different. Worse breakfast I've hard at hotel in forever.
