Liked: So close to all amenities. Prompt response from the concierge. Room service was good- fresh towels supplied. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: No microwave in the rooms to heat up left over meals.

Liked: The front office team going above and beyond to ensure guests are looked after from arrival to departure and the magnificent sea view and location and all the facilities especially from Sunrise breakfast restaurant in the morning and Social Gin and Signature at night.
Disliked: The freezer of the fridge was thick with frozen ice

Unimpressed with arrival/ check-in process

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Check in was a long and arduous process .4 separate rooms paid for and requested numerous times for all 4 rooms on the same floor was clearly ignored. The Check- in staff person advised it was changed and could not provide adequate information as to why the my booking request was changed.The last room (716) was ready, however, I was not sent an SMS.It was left to me to follow up- left highly unimpressed.The robotic style of check-in/ reception staff needs serious improvement.Service with a smile with an emotional awareness surely cannot go astray??The Hilton name does not stack up to its service. Enough said.

Magnificent views and great location

Liked: Great location, amazing mountain and river view and a beautiful property. The view from our room was also amazing and the room was clean, well kept and the bed was comfortable We had the buffet breakfast on our last day which was impressive
Disliked: It would have been great if the spa was heated

Excellent stay in Cairns

Liked: Location is excellent. So handy for any of The Barrier Reef excursions. So many eateries to choose from close by looking out over the water. Rooms are lovely and the grounds are beautifully kept. Staff friendly, facilities good. Nothing to not like. We didn’t eat in at all, spoilt for choice along the boardwalk right outside hotel.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
