Nice hotel, great location. But...
Liked: The bed was really comfy, the AC was great as it was such a hot weekend. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: The room was not clean at all, hairs all over the bathroom floor and shower. The skirting’s around the room was thick with black dust. The carpet clearly hadn’t been hoovered as bits everywhere.Someone did come to hoover again once i complained, but for £240 a night, I would have thought it would have been clean on arrival. I was also was told the manager would speak to us on checkout but nothing was said.

Overall good but apart from...
Liked: Location was perfect and walking distance from so many sightseeing activities and city centre.
Disliked: For a room upgrade, it didn’t feel very special. The door to the bathroom wasn’t very private and shower had really poor pressure. Apart from original member of staff we spoke, everyone else was quite rude, uninviting and made my friend and I feel like we were bothering them.

Disappointing
Liked: We always stay in 4 star hotels and thought this would be normal Hilton standard but it was not. On the positive side it was a clean hotel and the room was nice.
Disliked: On the negative here's a few examples: before arriving I made numerous attempts to speak to someone without success and on the 6th attempt on route managed to speak to the concierge, also from the room no one picks up the phone despite ringing various departments, at breakfast you wait ages before anyone comes to book you in and show you to the table, there were no bedroom slippers and we were told they were on order, etc. Basically the problem is a shortage of staff to save money - and also most staff have not been trained or appraised do they do not understand how to greet and deal with guests. We will not be staying at this hotel chain again

Liked: Everything was great, and particularly liked the no fuss option to extend checkout.
