Hotel Description
A central location with some rooms that look directly into Orioles Park at Camden Yards the Hilton Baltimore Convention Center hits a homerun for our guests. The hotel's location also makes it ideal if you're in town for a business meeting or a stroll around the harbor. Recognizable by its gleaming white fašade the 20-story hotel became a part of the city skyline in 2008. It's designed for traveling business executives so each of the 757 non-smoking rooms has a spacious desk with wired and Wi-Fi internet connections for a fee. (There's free Wi-Fi downstairs in the bar and restaurant.) After a hard day at the virtual office there are plush mattresses with down pillows and duvets 37-inch flat-panel TVs with on-demand entertainment and connections for your mp3 player. Granite bathrooms are filled with the types of products you might find at a spa. There are top-of-the-line amenities in the exercise room including the latest strength-training and calorie-burning equipment as well as an indoor lap pool a hot tub and a sauna. Note: Due to the hotel's location inside the track of the Grand Prix of Baltimore the garage will not be accessible between the hours of 7AM-7PM on August 30-31 and September 1 2013. Please call the hotel (after booking) for more information. Connected to the Baltimore Convention Center by an elevated walkway the Hilton Baltimore is also close to the downtown business district. Orioles Park at Camden Yards is across the street and M&T Bank Stadium is a few blocks south. The Babe Ruth Museum and the Sports Legends Museum favorites for baseball fans are both within two blocks of the hotel. The Inner Harbor home of the Maryland Science Center is a 10-minute walk east. Amtrak's Pennsylvania Station is one mile north and Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport the city's closest air travel hub is 10 miles south.

Everything nice except I was...

Disliked: I was told I d get the federal government rate when I made reservations, and when I check in, but both outright lied! I 'll never stay here again.

Stay somewhere else

Liked: Quiet room
Disliked: Parking in the garage and lots of spots had big puddles of water in them that smelled bad. Water puddles and rust in little area to take the elevator up to the lobby. Went and checked in but staff was not really friendly. Like your checked in and now go. Water im guessing, on the floor in the lobby by the elevators to go up to your room. No disposable cups in the bathroom for you to rinse your mouth. Good walk to get breakfast and was hard for my elderly guest. Upon checkout at 9am only 1 person behind counter and 3 people waiting. Very slow moving people. For the price pretty bad.

Not happy and ripped off

Liked: When I arrived at the hotel at 1-30 am, having been delayed, as per usual by US airlines, I was told that my room had been sold and that I had to go to another hotel, to which I was sent unaccompanied and by foot, in one of the more dangerous cities in the US Not happy! Then when I did get into my room later that afternoon, they overcharged me. Instead of a total charge (including taxes) of about 254 US dollars per night as per the booking through, they have charged me $343.52 US per night. How can they do this?
Disliked: Complete indifference to a very tired traveller at 1-30 am. Clearly I am not the first person where this has happened.

Fair - 2.5 out of 5

Liked: Proximity to conference center.
Disliked: In all my travels, I have never had so much difficulty ordering room service. When finally able to order, food was awful. Front desk unreliable about fulfilling quest requests. Trash cans in public area full and overflowing.
