Hilton Aberdeen TECA

Had the most relaxing two days at the Hilton enjoyed the swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym. The food was excellent; the hotel staff very efficient. Lovely, wonderful, guest room with two queen size beds.

Nice hotel, terrible room service!

Liked: The rooms are clean, the swimming pool was lovely, the breakfast was delicious!
Disliked: We ordered room service- when it arrived I was immediately disappointed. Our food arrived in a box, not even on a plate. The burgers we had were absolutely disgusting!! The bun was soggy, and the bacon was just cooked and no more, so it was all fatty and limp. The gherkin was thrown in at the side, the chips were bland, the 2 onion rings were burnt, and there wasn't even salt and pepper on the tray! We just couldn't eat it! We also ordered dessert, which also came in a box, not even a bowl/plate. Our cutlery wasn't overly clean, and we paid £70 for this. Not impressed!

Liked: Breakfast was good. Had two evening dinners. The meals looked good on the menu but were overpriced. Chicken Caesar Salad was nice.
Disliked: The carrot and sweet potato soup was tasteless and watery.

Liked: Its proximity to P&J Live.The hotel was very modern, exceptionally clean and all staff from main reception to cleaning were very polite and helpful.
Disliked: My niece and I enjoyed a lovely meal but waited 40 minutes. A couple at the table next to us ordered a long time after us received their meal before us, as did another table.We had to ask a staff member about our meal, then it arrived promptly.
