Clean, Functional, good value

Liked: This little roadside motel is exactly what we expected for the age and price. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It is dated, but I do not mind the age of the motels as long as they have properly functioning facilities and are clean. There were no problems. It is downtown and we walked to other destinations.
Disliked: Could use more or better pillows and an extra blanket.

Disliked: Poor WiFi, bathroom was moldy. Curtains were broken. It’s a long walk to anything.

Liked: A no frills, older motel that serves the basic function for a bed and a shower. Good location.I found the hot water was spotty and was disappointed there was no coffee machine in the room. But it was clean and comfortable. In summary, a good value but could be slightly improved.

Well worth the price! Clean,...

Liked: Stay here often and the side rooms across the way from the main office and the rear rooms are exceptional. Again, I stay here often and applaud the value and quality for price-exceptional! I highly recommend for short term stays of persons traveling through or just for a 1-2 day visit.
Disliked: Be cautious about staying in the rooms on top of the hill adjacent to the main office - my expectations were not met there and my experience there is much different with road noise and different room standards-albeit I request at booking NOT to be placed there and they have always accomodated my request..

A little gem from bygone...

Liked: I loved the comfortable bed! The motel is clean and neat. It is a throwback to earlier decades, but I loved it! There was a real key, with plastic room ID tag. Not the modern electric key card. No amenities, except soap and small packets of shampoo/conditioner. There was a microwave and fridge, no coffee maker or hair dryer. Having said that, I thought it was wonderful! I don't need those things. My main requirements are cleanliness and a comfortable bed. It came through with those two for sure! It is conveniently located in town, close to everything. I ate at Ms Lois' Restaurant 5 minutes away, had pizza delivered once. There are beautiful waterfalls about 20 minutes out of town. I stayed 4 nights and had a very nice stay in Franklin. I would definitely recommend this little motel. I hope they never update it. It's perfect just the way it is.
Disliked: Can't think of any moment during my stay that was unpleasant.
