Hilltop Inn Pittsburgh

Had to take pictures of broken things to make sure we didn't get blamed; otherwise a good place to sleep.

Liked: Great place to pass out after show, not much else; nice employees.
Disliked: Stains on floor; mold growing on chair.

Disliked: The location is in the middle of an industrial area, and no working wifi even though advertised.

Pay a few more dollars...

Liked: Hilltop Inn was only 15 minutes from the city.
Disliked: The staff were not friendly, the lock was broke on the door, no vending machines at the hotel, no microwave or refrigerator in room, wifi was out more than on, beds were nailed together with boards, no continental breakfast as claimed on their website, banisters were not safe, they were loose and shakey, no where to put garbage, and we were only allowed 2 sets of towels for 4 people. The air conditioner leaked the whole time we were there.no snack/ deli bar as their site claimed, if we needed a drink or snack we had to walk down a hill to the Getgo to purchase them, also claimed they had an ice machine but the door was always locked. They do not answer their phones and there is not staff onsite 24 hours as the description claims. We will not go there again.

Liked: The sockets in the rooms don't work the sockets in the lobby don't work. Friendly people not too much noise great atmosphere I don't hear people in other rooms like I did at my last hotel. They don't really give you anything they don't even have forks napkins and spoon like cutlery in the very least for people. They stop giving out coffee at 11:00 but you're open at 9:00. I can tell you that it's very it's kept up on but it's very underkept. Survival of the fittest for real you're going to have to bring your own materials because they don't supply even the smallest things. No refrigerator in the room you got to go to the lobby so if you want something hot to eat you either got to go to this nearest gas station or hit your food up before 11:00 p.m. not really feeling their systems but it's a cool little ducks spot just to get away
Disliked: That they don't have anything for their gas not even like just being able to have like cups forks spoons access to and those are very inexpensive things to keep around for your guests is people that live in these hotels. They give you a quarter size soap I'm exaggerating but
