A pleasant stay in rural...

Liked: We stayed here 3 nights while touring the area. It's excellent in every way. Bill is a friendly and attentive host, pleasant conversationalist, and source of lots of useful local information. The entire property is clean and in good repair; no problems, and had there been any, I'm sure Bill would've attended to them at once. Comfortable room and bed, with goose down pillows--really pleasant. Breakfasts were delicious. All in a most peaceful and serene location; we heard nothing at night but silence. We'd gladly stay here again, and hope to do so.

Lovely room, delicious breakfast

Liked: Lovely room and delicious breakfast with gluten free options! Coast is about a half hour drive so ideally placed for both Abbotsbury, Isle of Purbeck and everything in between. Pub with food 10 mins walk down the road so all good! Very quiet, slept really well.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: This was such a lovely find. Beautiful location with easy access to all the lovely parts of Dorset and Wiltshire.The owner, Brian, was so friendly. Greeted with a pot of tea and cake on arrival. Excellent breakfast with a wide choice and tailored to suit you. The room was comfortable. Would definitely stay again. However, they are retiring, and it's closing as a B&B next month.😪.
Disliked: Really couldn't fault it. However, the only issue I had was that my room was above the owners lounge, and I could hear the TV until the early hours. This was rectified by buying some ear plugs. Apart from that, it was perfect in every way.

Liked: Our host Bill was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The tea and cake on arrival we're perfect. Bedroom was very comfortable and had everything we needed.

Liked: Breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented and convivial. My room was lovely, spacious, immaculate and interesting. The location was delightful, on the outer edge of a lovely small village. The hosts were as welcoming and as interesting as their property.
Disliked: An honesty bar would be a good addition. It was more remote from other restaurants. pubs, and shops than I had anticipated, but that was bad research on my part! The A31 which gets you out of the village is scary in the rush hour!
