Liked: The hotel is approximately 20 minutes walk from the lake, very nice hotel, staff very pleasant and helpful

Stay at Windermere

Liked: Location was up a steep hill but because of this we had lovely view if the lake. Maybe not suitable for less mobile people.The hotel was clean, comfortable and nice decor. Staff very pleasant
Disliked: Lack of air conditioning in our room. No fridge.

Liked: Exceptional generous breakfast included in booking.with many choices available.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike, it was perfect!

Relaxing, happy and friendly hotel...

Liked: Very clean the rooms to all the communal areas, the food was delicious we ate there 2 nights plus breakfast both days was superb. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We will return.
Disliked: Everything was great.

Enjoyable stay and comfortable

Liked: Great service staff, especially the two sisters that work at the restaurant. They were very kind and helpful for my daughter. As we were a family, the only option for us was the Tendal Howe. It’s not decorative as their signature rooms but it’s functional and comfortable. Very spacious.
Disliked: Nothing really. Maybe for the Tendal Howe rooms they can make it a bit more decorating but it’s no big deal. We still liked it.

Liked: good comfortable place - spacious lounge and restaurant -good designed rooms - good terrace area and gardens - short walk to town centre - good staff
Disliked: nothing to not like

Ok hotel, but overpriced for...

Liked: good location an great view across the valley and Lake Windermere.
Disliked: Music in the dining room / bar reverberated into our room until they closed the restaurant at about 11pm. We asked if they could turn it off and they said no. Pool area very small and un-appealing, didn't use.

Great hotel would definitely recommend

Liked: Beautiful views, great staff, the location was great everywhere was walkable. The breakfast was amazing
Disliked: The jacuzzi bath not working, other guests being super loud at 6am
