Liked: Everything was great but a few things were uncommon no microwave but it was beautiful really nice people and the food good the view of Kentucky and Madison were breath taking to me and my wife

Liked: The view was fabulous, even being local, it was very enjoyable. The room was also nice-the tv cabinet should have doors that open further for viewing around the room, and the bed was kind of hard and uncomfortable; the breakfast was good and plentiful, and nice and quiet. The balcony experience was the best!
Disliked: tv cabinet doors need to open furtherbed needs to be more comfortable

Have I Got A Room...

Liked: The balcony and view were fabulous! The bed was very comfortable, too. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were very impressive. There were plenty of hot food choices like biscuits, gravy, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon! Plus cereal, various breads and muffins, yogurt, and fruit. The dining area offered a full panorama of historic Madison and the Ohio River. So lovely! I am coming back ASAP!
Disliked: I really have no complaints. Just a couple of observations. As you drive up the hill to the hotel, it's looks like a classic mid-century hotel, just oozing retro charm. Once inside, it shows wear. I couldn't help but think what a vintage showpiece it could be if mid-century furniture, lamps, wall art, etc. were added to the public areas, at least. Adding Mid-century Modern in the rooms would be a huge plus! To be clear, I liked the hotel very much - please read my comments about the room, view, and breakfast! I just see a missed opportunity to make it really memorable, decor-wise.
