The Spotlight on Hillside Crossing

Your Laid-back Launchpad for a Nashville Music Adventure

Modern and casual, Hillside Crossing is a relaxed hotel just over 4 miles from Nashville’s biggest music venues. Set slightly outside the downtown bustle, it offers a quieter stay while still keeping you close to the heart of the action. With free Wi-Fi, in-room kitchenettes, and easy access to the airport (only 2.5 miles away), it's a smart choice for music fans on the move.

Rooms are clean, air-conditioned, and come with flat-screen TVs, cable, and private bathrooms. Some even give you a glimpse of the city skyline.

Why Concert-goers love it

Hillside Crossing is just a 10 to 15-minute rideshare from downtown’s biggest venues like Bridgestone Arena, Nissan Stadium, and the Ryman. You'll be close enough to the action without the post-show crowds right outside your window. The hotel’s location also makes late-night Uber or Lyft rides quick and affordable. With a 3:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM checkout, it gives you time to rest and recharge either side of your concert.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a budget-friendly base before hitting the shows
  • Solo travelers chasing a bucket-list artist
  • Couples planning a music-filled weekend getaway
  • Fans who want a quieter space to unwind after a loud night out
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want solid amenities

Food and Drink Options

While Hillside Crossing doesn’t have its own restaurant, there are plenty of local spots within a short drive for late-night eats and early breakfasts. Plus, the in-room kitchenettes let you stash snacks or make a quick bite before heading out. Coffee lovers will be happy to know there's a solid caffeine fix nearby.

Nightlife Options

Though the hotel itself doesn’t offer on-site live music or a bar, it’s within easy reach of Nashville’s top nightlife. Whether you're heading downtown for honky-tonks or finding a local dive bar nearby, you're never far from the fun. After the show, enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep away from the crowds.

What People Say

Guests consistently mention the hotel’s cleanliness, comfort, and solid value. Many love how close it is to the airport and venues but appreciate that it’s not in the noisy downtown core. The free Wi-Fi and spacious rooms with kitchenettes earn regular praise from travelers looking for convenience.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests note that while the location is convenient, it’s not walkable to downtown—you’ll need a car or rideshare to get to the venues. There’s also no breakfast on-site, so plan accordingly if you’re not up for venturing out first thing.

The Bottom Line

If you're looking for a quiet, budget-friendly stay within easy reach of Nashville's music scene, Hillside Crossing hits the right notes.

Quick flip to the property,...

Liked: Clean big room. Big bathroom.
Disliked: Careless staff. No first aid kit available, just a few expired leftover bandages. My daughter trip over the uneven sidewalk and cut her knee open. Staff was not concerned.

Very poor

Liked: There is no breakfast anymore. I was a resident there. I was evicted. I needed somewhere to stay one more night, so I booked a room there. The manager, Jessica, wouldn't let me stay. I also DIDN'T get a refund.

Very good

Liked: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, excellent Irish Pub right next door with delicious breakfast. The room was cute and well accomodated. I like the pool and game room.
Disliked: My Uber driver said the location is not very safe, not to wander around at night. But I didn't notice anything in the hotel area itself. Seemed fine there. 10 minutes to downtown.
