Make a better breakfast have...
Liked: That’s it was close to where we needed to be
Disliked: That the sink plug kept on getting stuck that the cleaner where rude the way they spoke to us. Accusing us of smoking in room when we were not all my partner did was roll up his cigarette in room not smoke them. The breakfast was not good don’t know if change in staff but it was much better last year

Absolutely dreadful
Disliked: The mattress on our bed was ripped open and split right across with the stuffing spilling out and exposedPoor breakfast scrambled eggs smelt off & made me ill VERY slow breakfast service with one person manning breakfast service AND reception There was a hole in the dining area ceiling and a bowl to catch water!!!The location was the pitsVery poor value for money

Exceptional
Liked: Nice and quiet and easy to get to Edinburgh from here. The breakfast was really good and we had dinner in the restaurant. Was a great meal.
Disliked: No hairdryer in the room.

Liked: Friendly staff. Clean and modern facilities which was good value for money
Disliked: We had two rooms on different levels with different security access. Good security but difficult for us to get from room to room

I really recommend it
Liked: From the very beginning, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel owner – a very kind and friendly person. We had a pleasant conversation, which set a positive tone for our entire stay.The room was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, and very cozy. We spent a lovely and relaxing time there. Later, we went for dinner and really enjoyed it – the food was delicious, and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly and attentive.In the morning, we had breakfast – a classic English breakfast served buffet-style, so we could help ourselves. Some hot dishes were brought to us by a kind lady, including tasty eggs, bacon, sausages, and other delicious items.Although we stayed only one night, we had a truly enjoyable experience. Five stars from us for the hospitality, cleanliness, comfort, and food. We definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!
