Liked: Nice big beds, modernised bathroom.
Disliked: The hotel room was terribly hot, and for some reason we could not reduce the temperature with the window open, even though it was not a hot day. The bedside lights are spotlights above the bed, meaning that if you lie in bed, you are entirely blinded, and they therefore serve no purpose.

Liked: Bathroom and shower area was modern and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean in general and had what we needed.
Disliked: Shower lacked pressure. Communal areas of hotel were in need of some TLC. Breakfast limited and glasses not very clean looking.

Convenient for Edinburgh airport

Liked: Good location for airport the next day. Staff very friendly. Room clean and well equipped. Bed comfortable.
Disliked: No lift to first floor. Very badly sound insulated, heard everything the couple in next room were doing until late at night which disturbed our sleep. Restaurant for supper not good value for money.

Disliked: Didn’t realise breakfast finished at 9 (very early ) came down at 9.04 and staff wouldn’t do anything to accommodate us which was poor
