Liked: Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Log cabin was great. A short drive to Windermere. Ace welcome packs for the dogs and for the humans. Especially the wine! Surrounded by trees and silence. So serene.
Disliked: WiFi was awful. TV didn’t cast amd was limited to channels. So a brilliant place if you’d like to come and read a book. Maybe bring a dvd player if you need entertainment for the evening.

Liked: Really comfortable cabin in a lovely location on Lake Windermere. The staff were helpful when needed. They also provided some complimentary tea and wine on arrival, which I thought was a really nice touch. Me and my partner really loved it here and will hopefully return.
Disliked: Tea towels and oven gloves weren't provided - not a massive problem but a heads would have been good as we didn't bring one. Although the accommodation maps show a bus stop nearby, we couldn't find it - and having looked online it appears the number 6 bus no longer runs past the site. This was fine for us as I drive, but might cause issues for those reliant on public transport.
