Relaxed and peaceful

Liked: Breakfast is served in a cabin overlooking the show jumping ground so was very nice to eat breakfast while watching the horses on show also the grounds surrounding the cottages offer lovely walks BTW breakfast is first class
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Pricey and very misleading!

Liked: Great breakfast!
Disliked: Misleading- too remote! Not suitable without a car. The property was quite dug up and the idyllic picture on the website is the owners home not where the accommodations are in the outbuildings building/ barn conversion!!Very expensive considering the very cramped attic accommodation we had! Every mirror was hung at shoulder level because of the dormers! All of the Pictures on the website are misleading and when we questioned the owner about the room size she said they listed the rooms square metres! I don’t think that’s appropriate as the picture gave the impression of a much larger room and also the impression that it was in the lovely home pictured on the website not in an outbuilding!

Disliked: Breakfast was a little disappointing and more like you would expect in a cheaper chain. Cook was very friendly.

Liked: This was our third year at Hill Farm. Graeme and his excellent staff continue to do a great job and offer great value.

Superb

Restful stay close to Oxford

Liked: Hill farm was close to Oxford, close to the park and ride at Thornhill, we could walk to the pub for dinner as long as we were fine crossing a busy highway (we were) and yet it felt like we were still in the country with sheep across the road and peacocks wandering the property. (The peacocks do scream pretty early). Breakfast was great, the room was very comfortable. Highly recommended.
