Wonderful host, accommodation and location

Liked: This has been one of my favourite places to stay ever. David was an amazing host - very friendly, helpful, attentive and a wonderful chef. We enjoyed beautiful and plentiful cooked breakfasts each morning, including croissants, fresh fruit salad, cereal, toast, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, mixed greens, plus juices and coffee/tea. We were invited in for a glass of wine on arrival and fortunate to enjoy a banquet for dinner one night. The room was decorated beautifully with so many special touches and attention to detail. There are gems to be discovered within each room and main guest house with lovely pieces of furniture, unique ornaments, and touches to ensure comfort and a homely feel. The beds were comfortable, and the room was a perfect size with couch, dining table and chairs plus kitchenette. The bathroom was huge with everything we needed. The view from the back yard area was expansive and so peaceful looking out over the forest toward the coast. Great position with only a short 10 minute drive into the Maleny area, but far enough out to give a peaceful and calm atmosphere. There is a short section of gravel road, but it's easy to navigate.This was wonderful value for money - accommodation alone was better value than most, then add the amazing included breakfasts plus the hospitality and other touches and you have a real gem of a find here. Thank you to David, Dean and Bentley the dog for making our stay so perfect and memorable.

Stunning views and incredible stay

Liked: I recently had the pleasure of staying at David’s beautiful vintage apartment, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the breathtaking view — whether it was sunrise or sunset, the scenery was absolutely magical.The apartment itself is a dream for anyone who appreciates antiques and vintage charm. David was an outstanding host — welcoming, attentive, and passionate. He also happens to be an incredible cook! Breakfast was delicious. Overall, my stay was beyond wonderful. I can’t wait to come back!

Liked: We have had an amazing stay at Highwood Park B&B.Location: Beautifully located in the Glasshouse Mountains, (only a 10 min drive from Maleny). Just far enough away so you are surrounded by tranquility and peace (with only the sounds of nature around you), but close enough to drive to local attractions, restaurants and shops. The views are just stunning.Rooms: So much attention to detail in all the rooms, with amazing views from each room!Breakfast: David serves a gourmet breakfast every morning, from fresh fruit, croissants and toast to bacon and eggs, with juice, tea and coffee also on offer. Presentation of the food was amazing.Service: David was an amazing host, very knowledgeable of the area and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay!Thank you David.
