Very good
Liked: Very clean and big room.Tea and coffee supplied.Good shower good.Plenty of parking and WiFi good.
Disliked: Needs a toilet brush.Remote didn't work properly and toilet seats move when you go to sit down on 2 different rooms we have stayed in.

Cheep and cheerful, not up...
Liked: The room was well laid out with kettle, tea and coffee, writing table with lamp, comfy bed and large television. The breakfast was good with cereal, pastries and fruit juice but the English breakfast sausage was uncooked
Disliked: The bathroom was large but not laid out well with a very small shower cubical. My evening meal was not great the pie was very nice but let the meal down with very thick gravy (one big lump) and the wash was very dry and hard.

Great accommodation, staff to improve...
Liked: The room was spotlessly clean—both in appearance and scent—which instantly made it feel welcoming and well cared for. The interior design was thoughtfully arranged, with cosy touches and an interesting turquoise colour palette that added to the overall comfort. The bed was soft but supportive, making it easy to unwind after a long day.The adjoining pub was a lovely bonus, offering a diverse selection of food and drinks in a relaxed, traditional setting. Whether you’re after a hearty meal or just a quiet drink, it’s a great spot to settle in.The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to the airport. Free parking was a definite plus, making arrival and departure hassle-free in that respect.
Disliked: Upon arrival, the reception desk was unattended, and we had to use the intercom to request assistance. A staff member (a lady with glasses) eventually arrived to check us in, but unfortunately, her demeanor felt less than welcoming. It gave the impression that we were inconveniencing her, which set an uncomfortable tone for the beginning of our stay. The pool table offered contactless payment, which seemed convenient at first. However, our card was charged twice and the balls weren’t released. When we reported the issue, the staff informed us that they had notified the engineer, but no refund or alternative solution was offered. It felt like the matter was brushed aside without proper resolution.A particularly concerning moment occurred when the fire alarm went off. As professionals in health and safety, we were alarmed by the lack of protocol. Staff did not initiate evacuation or provide any guidance, which is a serious oversight. In any situation involving a fire alarm, immediate evacuation is essential, and guests should only return once the authorities have declared it safe. The absence of clear procedures and apparent lack of fire safety training among staff was troubling, especially given the potential risks.

Good value accomodation
Liked: Good value, basic accommodation. This is no-frills, but I got a warmer welcome here than most 4-star hotels I stay in, and slept better, too! Single room, paint work needed a refresh, but it was spotless - not a spec of dust, fresh air (yes! you could open the windows!), no noise from the corridors (also spotless), bathroom was small but perfectly formed. Food in the pub was fresh, hot, tasty and excellent value. Half a roast chicken, sides, and a glass of Coke Zero cost me less than £15. I couldn't eat it all. Breakfast was even better - freshly scrambled eggs and good quality back bacon. Better than any hotel breakfast I've had for a long time, and a lovely lady looking after everyone too.
Disliked: This was basic, no frills accommodation, with a price to match. There wasn't anything to dislike or complain about.
