Liked: We arrived at 23:00 and were told we were late and unable to check in and stay the night. Full refund required.

Trouble free, comfortable stay

Liked: Comfortable bed & room. Drinks prices in the bar were good value for money.
Disliked: Continental breakfast could have been kept better stocked but there appeared to only be one person waiting on tables and working the restaurant. Need a selection of coffees available at breakfast. Plating of breakfast could've been more appealing. Lack of attention to detail with decor - large area needed painting which made it look shabby. This spoilt the overall look which was generally good. Loose toilet seat in bathroom. Rooms could do with sound proofing - room & corridor doors should be soft closing. Could hear slamming doors & people's conversations late at night/early morning.

Clean, tidy, functional

Liked: Clean, tidy and functional. Receptionist was hospitable and helpful with local information and providing room key before time as we were moving on to another venue
Disliked: Reliance on the HH for breakfast led to disappointment. Food was wither over or undercooked, eggs solid, mushroom massively under cooked. Had to ask for bread, butter, hot water, coffee was weak and tasteless. Decent hotel, poorly supported by other services

Overall I would stay here...

Disliked: the corridors in the middle of the night were noisy with workers who must have been working shift/overtime coming in late and being very noisy - disturbing sleep.

Liked: Roombwas nice and comfortable it's not the ritz, but it's not meant to be a nice breakfast
Disliked: Not enough tea bags and nit replenished also no fridge

Reasonably priced, comfortable and friendly

Liked: Room was pleasant and comfortable, slept really well. Staff were super friendly staff, from check-in to a drink at the bar, and at breakfast and dinner.Location great for what we were doing in the area.Excellent stay, thank you.
Disliked: Managed to get water everywhere when I had a shower
