Highlands Hotel

Good

Liked: Staff were very freindly and helpful.Bar was nice to have a few drinks in.Hotel was really nice.
Disliked: windows were not safe, could not be locked, children could easily open, considering that guy in Wellingborough died from falling out a unsafe window a few months ago i thought more hotels would be improving window saftey, especially for a family room.

Liked: Located a 15 min walk away from the town centre. Room was spacious, clean and silent. Parking for my motorcycle was available. Owner was friendly, had a nice evening in their small Pub. Only one little thing was that I couldn't open a window (maybe my fault).

Liked: bed had bodily fluids and cigarette burns all over it had to hand the key back and get the train home. The staff was lovely couldn’t be more apologetic, unfortunately spoilt the weekend. hoping that they will be kind enough to give me a refund. Been waiting two weeks now for refund.
Disliked: Definitely clean the pink mould off the showers throw away that mattress and replace. Had to hand keys back praying that they will refund me the money.

Liked: It was cheap
Disliked: The small car park was full. As was nearby parking. When I eventually arrived, the room was on the 3rd floor, no lift. The wifi was very patchy.
