Clean hotel, good for shower...

Liked: Staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. It was also in a pretty good location, close to coffee, restaurants, not far from the mall and access to the highway. Price for the stay was very reasonable.
Disliked: The hotel is undergoing updates and while this is understandable, it made our stay less convenient than I would have liked. Our room was missing the mini fridge and breakfast was basically black coffee on Friday, since there was no half and half or non-sugar options. Saturday we had some waffle batter in the machine, a hot pan of French toast sticks and one of small ham steaks. As someone who cannot eat bread or sugar, it was really disappointing that I only had one choice of food. No bacon or sausage or eggs. The pool was nice with a little splash area, but the liner is bubbling up and the deepest part of the pool wasn't even 4 feet deep which is kind of silly.

Disliked: The room was a little dirty and there was little to no hot water pressure in the bathroom sink.

Liked: Omg the build was under construction but that shouldn’t be the issue right. Well let me start off with the pool had so much chlorine that the moment you walked in your eyes started to burn but kids wanted to swim so we struggled with our eyes burning. We tried to do the hot tub but couldn’t it was ice cold like the kiddy pool was warmer. We spent maybe 15 to 20 mins in the pool area and had to leave the children started coughing and throwing up. Went to our room there was hair in the tub. When we talked to front desk and let them know our issue they more or less laughed it off

Liked: Front desk staff was wonderful. One lady must be there 24/7. She is a gem! She deserves a raise. Breakfast was lovely.
Disliked: Freezing room, followed by 80 degree room, followed by freezing room. Heat could not be controlled by thermostat. Bedroom trash not emptied when I got there. No cleaning while there. Missing part for coffee maker.

Won't be staying here again...

Liked: Clean areas. Comfortable bed and linens. The waffles were good, but breakfast could have used more protein items. There was boiled eggs, milk, and sweetened yogurt in the fridge.
Disliked: The hotel was doing a refresh, so the paint smells were awful throughout the hallways. The pool and workout room was closed due to the refresh and when asked for a discount, as it was freezing outside and I couldn't use those facilities, manager told me I should have found another hotel. I had booked this hotel months in advance and flight got in late, so that would have been a challenge with the freezing weather. I was on the 4th floor when the fire alarm went off one evening, but no one called my room to let me know what to do. When I finally called the front desk, I was told it was not a real alarm and everything was fine, she was quite rude and wondered what my problem was.
