Liked: Beautiful property with stunning interior which makes you feel special to be there. Breakfast was very tasty and is served to the room which was a nice touch. Johnathan and Louise are very attentive and thoughtful hosts.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Booked for a birthday present, my friend said it was amazing the staff were really friendly the room was immaculate, the beds were comfy. It was absolutely amazing. Five star accommodation they will definitely be coming back.
Disliked: The only criticism they had was the step at the front of the property was covered in bird poo, which wasn’t very nice

Liked: The highlight of our stay in Whitby! Highgate House is exceptional, beautiful, luxurious and comfortable.The hosts were amazing. The breakfast were delicious. Faultless accommodation and service.Highly recommend a few days stay at Highgate House.

We had a very pleasant,...

Liked: The owners were very nice people, attentive and helpful. Location was excellent, room very clean and comfortable.Our TV had a fault on the first evening and by the next afternoon a new one had been purchased and installed !!!
Disliked: For the standard advertised and the price paid we would have preferred a coffee machine in the room rather than sachets of instant coffee. Highgate House was advertised as a 'Luxury B & B' which is why we chose it. It was a high ticket price at £477 for three nights. The breakfast did not meet the description of luxury in our opinion.For example there was a bacon roll every day, no other choice. The pastries for two people were half a round of toast, one small danish pastry, one crumpet and one small slice of fruit bread.

Liked: Location, 5 star accommodation with lovely hosts that cater for all your requirements! You can’t do better than this.
Disliked: Nothing it’s absolutely outstanding in all respects.

Outstanding experience

Liked: Outstanding all round experience .It had the wow factor from the moment we stepped inside .There is attention to detail in everything connected with Highgate house . We sensed that a lot of love and thought had gone into creating such a warm welcoming environment.The huge comfortable bed with luxurious sheets , spotlessly clean throughout and the delicious breakfast tray that is delivered to your room each morning .Perfect hosts in Jonathan and Louise who are naturally warm and friendly. We could not have asked for anything else .
Disliked: Loved everything about it . Best stay to date and will be going back
