Liked: Highfield felt like a cross between a small guest house and a bigger hotel - in a way you get the best of both worlds. Breakfast good, views back and front good, staff lovely, parking good. My only comment would be that my "single" room felt a little cramped - obviously cannot speak for other room types. Photo shows car park in foreground and hills in the background. Front views even better. Walking distance to town and facilities.
Disliked: No complaints.

Liked: We went for our anniversary & the Room was amazing the Woodford Suite so beautiful and spacious. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and nicely cooked. Location to the town centre and Derwent Water was perfect a five minute walk. We would definetly go back to this hotel. Thank you

Beautiful Room

Liked: I was surprised. Communal areas around reception & honesty bar could use an update, but my room (first floor, front) was perfect. Gorgeous view with big armchairs to watch from, well decorated, & with everything you could need. Breakfast was great. Car parking easy - a rarity in Keswick.
Disliked: Wished the brown sauce was HP and not some posh pretender ! NB. No restaurant, staff depart at 7pm.
