Liked: Great location, 5 minutes from the Lake and town. We loved the sunny front seating area over looking the park and the excellent parking to the rear. Complementary afternoon coffee and cake was a real bonus!

Liked: Lovely hotel. Very comfortable. All staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again definitely if visiting Keswick.

Liked: Good hot shower and easy to get to by foot.
Disliked: Room smelled of damp and a strange cleaner - tea tree oil? - breakfast was nothing special and the mushrooms appeared to have been deep fried. Very average. The woman who met us was extremely polite and professional.

Liked: We stayed in the Woodford room for our mini honeymoon and it did not disappoint. The room was absolutely perfect, with a huge bed and a large seating area. There is beautiful furniture placed around the room. It was the comfiest bed too! The location was more than ideal, being just a few minutes walk into the main streets of Keswick. The gardens at the front of the hotel were absolutely beautiful and well kept, there is seating out there too. There are areas to sit in to look at the view, and an honesty bar with drinks and snacks to help yourselves to which was a lovely touch. We requested champagne in our room which was perfectly chilled when we arrived. There was also hot drinks supplies, bottles of water, and biscuits. The bathroom was huge and very clean - with a big free standing bath and a large shower. All of the staff were very friendly both on arrival, at breakfast times, and at the time of our departure. We will definitely be back for another stay.
