High Seas Motel

Affordable for holiday weekend in...

Liked: -The location was perfect to walk to town and to beach.-Guaranteed parking spot was amazing-Ice machine was great for filling cooler before beach. -Friendly staff
Disliked: -room smelled like mildew, had to go buy air freshener spray and keep door open to air out room as much as possible; improved the longer we were there, but first night sleep was rough. -tv did not work (the nice staff member replaced it, but it still did not work due to wifi not working)-wifi did not work-bath towels were tiny-beds and bedding felt very basic & stiff (very firm mattress, which could be a preference)

Great location and value.

Liked: I stayed at High Seas for years. The location is amazing and the value can’t be beat. I bring my own single cup coffee maker and towels. Small price to pay for excellent location and price. Family run and friendly.
Disliked: Really nothing. I am prepared for what it lacks. See above.

Liked: The location was excellent and the place clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The only thing I didn't like had nothing to do with High Seas. The last night we were in Rehoboth, my son and I were on our bikes on the way back from the beach to the hotel, just around the corner, when an overzealous bicycle cop gave us a $56 ticket in circumstances in which almost nobody anywhere in America would have received a ticket. A warning would have been more than sufficient. The experience ruined our last night there, poisoned the end of our trip, and went a long way toward destroying my desire to return. I had intended to ask at the desk when checking out the next morning about availability at the end of the summer, but I may not return to Rehoboth at all.
