Disliked: Dated and gloomy rooms that were smelling of smoke. The hotel needs to be renovated for the prices they are charging.

We would love to come...

Liked: Great location and lots of room for our family of five. The beds were very comfortable and the shower amenities from Rocky Mountain Soap were very nice.
Disliked: The whole room could use a real, deep clean. There were cobwebs in the bedroom and the edges of the carpet needed a vacuum.

Liked: In general, a good place to stay with reasonable amenities.
Disliked: Pricey for what it was but the whole of Banff is disproportionately expensive compared to many other west Canada destinations.

Fantastic stay in the heart...

Liked: Great location. Very quiet. Plenty of space and well laid out. well-equipped kitchen/dining room.
Disliked: Felt dated and in need of remodeling. Everything worked, but for the price, we thought it would be a bit nicer. To be clear - nothing was wrong with the apartment. It’s just well worn and in need of updating.

Great time in Banff but...

Liked: We liked the location, well kept grounds, the unit layout to accommodate family, beds were good, the sauna and pools are a very nice feature.
Disliked: This property is clearly showing its age—and unfortunately, it’s not being maintained well. The most concerning issue in our unit was the main bathroom, which had visible mold around the tub and stains on the ceiling. These are not just cosmetic problems—they point to consistently poor cleaning and maintenance practices.Other aspects of the unit were similarly worn down. The sliding patio doors were very difficult to open, and the outdated kitchen and stovetop struggled to function properly. It took an unreasonable amount of time just to cook something as simple as scrambled eggs.While this property has the potential to be great, it’s currently not even good. It’s especially disappointing to see this level of neglect in what is marketed as a *Deluxe One Bedroom Apartment*. Where is the oversight from management or ownership?Sadly, this seems to be a recurring issue in high-demand destinations like Banff, where limited options allow some properties to lower their standards while still attracting visitors. If nothing else, they should stop calling it "Deluxe"!

A beautiful property that is...

Liked: The property was beautiful and located in an excellent location. The free busing too and from Banff Ave. was perfect.
Disliked: The property was great. A few updates in the bathroom would be OK, but overall it was still clean and enjoyable.
